Well folks here he goes again, Ken Cooper out best and only sales manager on the west coast has come up with what he says is the history of this timepiece.
Fred Fatback just loved to walk the streets and look into store windows and prowl dumpsters. Fred had a small income from money left to him by an aunt he couldn't even remember, so there was no need nor desire for Fred to seek work. Happy as a lark he would spend his day "strutting & ducking" and then retire to his humble flat in the underground part of the small city he called home. Fred didn't drink or smoke he was just content to go through life taking the easy way until one day he passed Butch's Watch Shop and saw a timepiece that just knocked the socks off of him. It was a Bulova Accutron that was so neat he slobbered all over the store window and himself peering at it. Entering the store he asked Butch, the owner, how much for the great looking Bulova, and when Butch told him how much Fred quickly knew he could never purchase the watch unless he changed his life style. The next day Fred started work as a dishwasher in a greasy spoon joint and within months had worked his way up to head cook and bottle washer. The owner said he had never seen a harder worker nor a smarter individual than Mr. Fatback. Saving his money Fred purchased the great looking Spaceview Accutron and vowed to continue his upward progress. Within a year Fred bought the greasy spoon and vowed to upgrade it into a better place to eat. When he hit a snag in the road up he would look at his Accutron and say to himself, "It keeps great time & it's neat looking - I can do it also". Within 5 years Fred's eating establishment was the talk of the town and the place to go for high quality meals and service. Another two years passed and he was slowly opening a chain of fine eating places called "Famous Fatbacks" that featured a great selection, quality, and low - low prices. Five times he was selected the city's Man of the Year. Fred would tell friends and diners that the Bulova Accutron was the driving force in his life and when he retired he would see to it another lucky person would have a chance to own such a great and inspiring timepiece. Girard now offers this work of art for sale to you at a very reasonable price. Who knows what heights you will achieve once you place it on your wrist.
