This is a copy of the second world war watch that was used by the German artillery and on the face you can see the inside track numbers are reversed because they used a periscope with a mirror to time the fire and because it was in the mirror the backward numbers would appear correct. This is a large watch that measures 45 mm from side to side not counting the winding crown and 54 mm from lug end to lug end. The black face has luminous numbers and a red second hand. The band is leather/canvas water resistant. The movement is 17 jewel manual wind and keeps good time. Comes in brown box with copy of the original A. Lange & Sohne papers.
