Measures 11 3/4 inches long and each link measures 9 mm wide and 3 mm thick. I think this one is from early 1900's and it is very nice.

This chain could also be used for a necklace by attaching a pendant to the swivel. these were originally made for the German lady field workers who wore them around their neck and the watch would fit in a apron pocket so when the bent over the watch would not fall on the ground and break, saving a expensive repair. Now they are collected like most nice antiques. Cir. late 1800's.
