On the dust cover is inscription "Mother to Emma, 12-25-1911. Original porcelain face is white with blue numbers and yellow gold hands. This face is perfect with no cracks, chips or hairlines. The fancy nickel movement is 7 jewel, recently cleaned so it is running fine and keeping good time. Serial number is 15491049 so it was made in 1910. The size is small about the size of a half dollar (33 mm) perfect size to wear on a chain around her neck.

Case is original and it is the Rail Road style, stainless steel with screw on back and screw on bezel. Inside the case back it says Hamilton Watch Co. Lancaster, Pa. Stainless steel with a star in the middle. Original white dial with black numbers, red 5 min markers on the outside track and blue/black hands has no serious cracks or chips but typical of this type melamine face it has some small checks . Size 51 mm. Serial number C78085 which means it was made in 1942.

All original and in great condition except for a small face repair at the bottom of the second hand area but no other faults. The case is 14k solid yellow gold swing out and is original from Howard with the Howard markings inside the case back. There is a inscription inside the case back "Barlo from Juanita May 9, 1919". Sometimes wonder what the occasion and what ever happened to Barlo and how about Juanita, why do we now have this solid gold watch for sale? Howard made better watches and this one is no exception, 17 jewel very clean running movement and if you watch the way it runs it is like a fine, smooth quality piece of precision made motor, like a expensive auto engine. Oh well I am getting carried away but this really is a nice piece. Serial number is 1235841. Case closes nice and tight with no gaps or dings or dents. Very fancy initials on case back. Serial number 9287387 which means it was made in 1901. This one has been used and it is a nice size to carry.

Inside both back covers it is marked 18K and all the covers close nice and tight. Doesn't look like this one has been used much if at all. Movement is hi grade Swiss that is marked CH Meylan, Hartford, Conn. Superior Adjustments, 21 jewels 20872. under the balance it has the Swiss cross and 31609 and it is running strong and keeping good time. The dial is shiny yellow gold with blue enamel numbers and blur black hands. This is stem set 16 size so it measures 46 mm from side to side not counting the winding area. Lots of gold in this one so not only a fine watch and fine maker but a good investment in gold. Weighs over 40 grams which is well over an ounce and gold is near $1000.00 an ounce again and seems to just keep going up. Price for this treasure is $995.00 + shipping.

The Dial is triple sunk porcelain all original with no chips or cracks only one faint hairline above the 12. The movement is marked Bunn Special Illinois Watch Co Springfield and Adjusted Temp. and Six Positions, Motor Barrel 60, 23 jewels Double Roller and Serial number 4718035 so it was made in 1925. This is before this company was sold to Hamilton. Inside the case back it is marked Bunn Special Model, Wadsworth Quality 14k Gold Filled. Slight brassing on the case back but nothing serious. Measures 50.5 mm from side to side.
