Mr. Ken Cooper out best but only west coast sales manager has found what he says is the history of this fine wrist watch.
Mr. Bumble Snerd was excited & brimming with happiness as his goal in life was about to be realized. Tomorrow he was to enlist in the armed forces of the USA. Running out of his home he raced to Witt's Watch Shop and purchased a Vintage Gruen Curvex wristwatch to wear while he was undergoing military training. He knew this watch would impress the drill Sergeants & they could see he was a person who has class. l The next morning at the induction station Bumble breezed through all the mental exams scoring well in all areas, only the physical exam remained & Mr. Snerd was sure he was in fine shape. After passing 5 exam stations he was allowed to use the rest room to relieve an anxious bladder. Finished, he paused to wash his hands & noticed an open window, and being the noisy type Mr. Snerd peered out the window of the 60th floor of the building. He had removed his watch while washing his hands & turned to retrieve the Gruen watch but his feet got tangled up in a wad of used paper towels people had thrown on the floor. Stumbling he grabbed at the window ledge to catch himself but missed and Mr. Bumble Snerd plunged out the window to meet his fate. He hit the pavement with a "splat" and his shaken parents were presented with his Gruen Curvex watch and his flattened remains by the military. They sold his fine timepiece to Mr. Sensoli in the hopes it would have a new owner. Shaken by their story Girard downed a tofu shake to calm his jangled nerves. Girard offers this watch at a great price & when purchasing this timepiece ask about using his layaway plan.
